Under the NHS Patient Choice regulations, service users have the right to choose from any clinically appropriate provider. This right includes access to diagnostic services that align with their values, identity, and communication needs.

All Kinds of Minds Ltd was founded in response to a gap in provision for neuro-affirming adult assessments. While traditional models often reflect a deficit-based or medicalised approach, many autistic and ADHD adults — particularly those who mask or were missed earlier in life — seek services that affirm their identity, recognise their lived experiences, and offer psychologically safe assessment environments.

We offer a distinct, evidence-informed option for those who do not feel seen or supported in standard pathways. We aim not only to assess, but to affirm — helping people understand their neurodivergent identity in a way that supports long-term wellbeing and self-understanding.
